Overview

This project is called Inner Voice. It consists of a glove connected to a bracelet as a signal sender, and eight tetrahedron light modules installed on a dress and belt as a signal receiver.

With Inner Voice, we can express self-conscious emotions in a more polite way without affecting others’ moods, in party and public-space contexts, by using hand gestures to remotely trigger different light patterns.

For this project, I replaced jumper wires and breadboards with conductive fabrics, conductive yarns, and custom PCB shields to create an integrated wearable system.
